Of course we had to include a picture of us with the famous Dan Jones who served missions to Wales, specifically Merthyr Tydvyll, and probably converted the Morgans. Dan Jones' second wife is my 3rd great grandmother.
Had a wonderful dinner with the senior couples at President and Sister Johnson's home. We are so blessed to be serving with them here in Washington DC.
President Johnson has asked that we serve with the YSA wards here in getting them to be more involved in missionary work. We went to Baltimore to visit with a couple that are doing a great job there to see what they've been doing. They happened to be going to Gettysburg that day so we tagged along!
Got our first experience on the DC metro last night. Whew! We made it to our institute class! Still trying to get used to our cramped quarters but are adjusting. Still trying to figure out what we are supposed to be doing but are getting better at it each day. Love wearing the missionary badges, especially when people come up and ask questions. Also got to go to the temple this week.
We leave our testimonies that this work is of God and our promise that if you will live it, you will find happiness and joy in your lives.
Love,
Elder and Sister Morgan
